From late May through the end of July, Khanh Hoa province will host a series of large-scale, prestigious cultural and artistic events. This vibrant lineup promises residents and visitors alike an explosion of emotions in the lively, energetic atmosphere of summer.

    Khanh Hoa’s Cultural Brilliance Shines

This summer, Khanh Hoa will take center stage with two major cultural events: the 2026 Khanh Hoa Sea Festival and the 6th Cham Ethnic Cultural Festival. The 6th Cham Ethnic Cultural Festival, jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee, will take place from June 26 to 28 with the theme "Preserving and Promoting the Cultural Identity of the Cham People in the New Era." The festival will bring together around 700 Cham artisans, performers, and athletes from seven provinces and cities: Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, An Giang, Tay Ninh, and Ho Chi Minh City. In addition to the opening ceremony (evening of June 26) and closing ceremony (evening of June 28), the festival will feature a variety of activities and events such as: performances and presentations of excerpts from traditional Cham festivals and rituals; exhibitions and showcases promoting Cham traditional culture; demonstrations of Cham traditional handicrafts; community art performances; Cham ethnic costume shows; sports competitions and traditional Cham folk games; a seminar on "Preserving and Promoting the Value of Cham Cultural Heritage in Khanh Hoa in Connection with Sustainable Tourism Development"; and displays of tourism products, OCOP products, and specialty items from Khanh Hoa province. Cultural, artistic, and exhibition activities will be held at 16 April Square (Phan Rang and Dong Hai wards), while sports and folk games will take place at the Provincial Sports Competition Service Center (Bao An ward).

The 2026 Khanh Hoa Sea Festival, organized by the Provincial People’s Committee under the theme "Colors of the Ocean – Reaching International Heights," will officially take place from July 17 to 19 at 2 April Square (Nha Trang ward) and several other locations throughout the province. Key events include: the opening ceremony (evening of July 17); the Carnival Festival – a floral parade themed "Nha Trang Sea Flowers" (afternoon of July 18); the grand finals of Vietnam Supermodel and Mister Vietnam 2026, combined with the "Runway to the World" fashion and music show (evening of July 18); and the closing ceremony with the international music gala "Unite the Continents" under the theme "Khanh Hoa – Embracing Friends from Around the World" (evening of July 19).

In addition to the main events, from July 10 to August 10, the 2026 Khanh Hoa Sea Festival will feature numerous large-scale national activities, with participation from several central ministries, domestic provinces and cities, and international partners of Khanh Hoa. Nearly 30 consecutive activities and events over the course of a month will offer residents and visitors a diverse and distinctive experience of Khanh Hoa’s land and people.

Ms. THAI THI LE HANG – Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism: The two major cultural events—the 2026 Khanh Hoa Sea Festival and the 6th Cham Ethnic Cultural Festival—will help strengthen exchanges with friends both domestically and internationally, spread the unique cultural identity of Khanh Hoa, promote the province’s image, and attract tourists. The Khanh Hoa Sea Festival is expected to draw between 600,000 and 800,000 local residents, domestic, and international visitors. To ensure the success of these events, the Provincial People’s Committee requires that all cultural, sports, tourism, and artistic exchange activities be distinctive, rich, and diverse, with the participation of various groups and renowned artists; create impressive tourism products; and contribute to the province’s socio-economic growth indicators.

    Prestigious Music Festivals

The Provincial People’s Committee has also approved in principle for Sun Khanh Hoa Co., Ltd. (Sun Khanh Hoa) to organize a grand music festival themed “Mega Booming Charmora City – Awakening the Heart of Nha Trang Downtown.” The event is scheduled for June 13 at 2 April Square. With a large, spectacular stage and a lineup of renowned domestic and international artists and singers, the event promises to be a captivating entertainment highlight, drawing large crowds of residents and visitors.

The highlight of the music festival will be a 15-minute artistic fireworks display to close the program, featuring 500 low-altitude and 1,000 high-altitude fireworks. According to Sun Khanh Hoa, “Mega Booming Charmora City – Awakening the Heart of Nha Trang Downtown” aims to enrich tourism offerings for residents and visitors during the 2026 summer travel season, while also promoting and elevating the image and tourism brand of Khanh Hoa to visitors—especially investors considering the province as a venue for national and international events.

Following the “Mega Booming Charmora City – Awakening the Heart of Nha Trang Downtown” event, the joint venture of Century Investment & Advertising JSC and Inspike Media Co., Ltd. (Ho Chi Minh City) will organize a series of two large-scale summer music festivals at 2 April Square this June. Specifically, the “Red Bull – Unyielding Spirit” concert will take place on the evening of June 20, featuring young artists such as Rhyder, Osad, My My, and Fire Band; followed by the “Play Together – Connecting Vietnamese Identity” program on the evening of June 27, with performances by Tieu Minh Phung, Orange, Quan AP, Lamoon Diem Hang, Min, and more. At these events, residents and visitors will not only immerse themselves in an explosive musical atmosphere but also have the opportunity to participate in engaging experiential activities and interactive mini-games at booths throughout the square.
